Pick a test. ExamReady plans a short session from your own answers: checks that are due, the questions you missed, then your weakest handbook area. The car permit version is in progress.

How the readiness estimate works
It estimates the share of our questions for one test you would answer right today. It is practice performance: not a probability of passing the DMV test, and not a prediction of how your state words or weights its questions.
- Only your latest answer to each different question counts. Answering one question ten times is one answer.
- Under 20 different questions: no assessment. After that, a label (Early progress, Building confidence) until you have seen 80% of the test and at least 5 questions in every handbook area.
- Then a score with a 90% range. Areas you have barely touched keep the range wide by themselves.
- Strong practice performance means the low end of the range is at or above the 80% pass mark (49 CFR 383.135) and every area has held up when checked again 2+ days later.
- Streaks and practice days never change it.
Mock exams use our practice length per test, not your state’s official test length.
